I went to a Pampered Chef party this last weekend and we had a cookie exchange. Everyone brought cookies in little bags with the recipes attached. This was one of the party guests favourites: Oreo Balls. My husband is making a batch as I write this. Here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
1 package Oreo cookies, crushed
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 package white semi sweet bakers chocolate
1 package chocolate semi swet bakers chocolate
Directions:
Using a blender or food processor, mix Oreos and cream cheese together. Roll into walnut size balls. Chill for an hour. Melt approximately 3/4 package of white chocolate. Stick a toothpick in an Oreo ball and dip it in the melted white chocolate. Allow to harden on wax paper. Takes about 15 min. While waiting, melt about 1/4 package of the bakers chocolate . When Oreo balls are no longer sticky to the touch, decorate with drizzles of chocolate and white bakers chocolate.
