i couldn't sleep very well last night because my back was hurting so bad. after i finally got a few hours of sleep, i went to go take a shower and.... NO HOT WATER!! i am sick of this. they came to fix my water heater agian for the 3rd time in the past 2 weeks. i can't believe this! hopefully it stays this time. i went to hang out with kimme today and i had dinner with her family. i also got to go to her daughter's soccer practice and then to starbucks for her mom's group meetup. i stayed for about an hour and then came home. jen and her family came over and looked at our coffee table. they liked it so i sold it to them for 10 dollars. i went back with them to their house and hung out there for awhile. now i am home watching tv. in a minute i will go to take a shower. and eventually to bed. i have an early doctor's appt in the morning so i will probably not get much sleep. oh well. and tomorrow night i am going to cocomoe's (a club/bar) in virginia beach with kimme and her mom's group. that should be fun!! hehe.. i miss my husband but i am learning to become more independent. i am trying to get a life. that way, when he is gone, i am not so sad. i hope he knows that that doesnt mean i dont need him, it just means i can survive while he is gone. i can't wait until he gets home in two months! i just want to hold him and snuggle with him for hours. hehe... that's all for tonight!

Navy Wife Prayer

Lord, grant me the greatness of heart to see,

The difference in duty and his love for me.

Give me the understanding to know,

That when duty calls he must go.

Give me a task to do each day,

To fill the time when he is away,

And Lord, when duty is in the field,

Please protect him and be his shield

I love my sailor

I am a proud navy wife! I have been married to my sailor for a year and I love him more today than I did yesterday. He is my everything! I have created this blog in order to (1) record my days and what I have accomplished, (2) keep others informed about how I am and what I am doing, and (3) encourage others who can relate to me. I hope to make this at least a daily journal, if not more. Please feel free to leave me comments!
